On February 25, 2023,  the TFL Education Department held a Professional Development (PD) session at Haigazian University as a part of the Fellowship program's monthly PD sessions. 

The monthly PD workshops are designed to enhance Fellows' teaching practices, create a safer atmosphere, and provide the greatest support for students to flourish and for the Fellows to build their leadership abilities. These workshops include different topics related to education, social cohesion, technology, psychosocial support, and other topics.

The day kicked off with morning sessions on “Partnering with Parents in Times of Adversity” by TFL’s Education Manager Mr. Ahmad Kassem and “Innovative Reflection” by TFL’s Wellbeing team.

The Fellows then gathered for an "Art Therapy" session given by Ms. Ghina Halik, where they sketched their ideas out, followed by a presentation on "Wellbeing Awareness" by the mental awareness organization, Embrace.
