Becoming a Fellow

The Teach For Lebanon Fellowship Program is a two-year leadership development opportunity for youth to challenge themselves and create impact in communities across the country.

Why join the Fellowship?

“I would not have been where I am today had it not been for the TFL Fellowship. Getting out of my tiny box that I had lived in, packing my bag and living in Akkar for 2 years, made me a better learner, a risk taker and an activist”. Richard Alam, TFL Alumnus, MENA Advocacy and Campaigns Manager - Crisis Action.

The ingredients of the successful relationship between TFL and the University of Balamand are: empowering youth, offering a one time opportunity experience, enhancing leadership skills, recruiting top cohorts and giving back to the community. Diala Farah, Career Services Center Director, Balamand University.

Whom Are We Looking For?

Teach For Lebanon is looking for applicants who will be Agents of Change in the classroom and beyond. We recognize that leaders come in many forms with varied past experiences, so there is no one profile of an ideal applicant. There are many ways to demonstrate leadership qualities, and we view applicants holistically by looking for evidence of demonstrated past achievement in which applicants have achieved ambitious, measurable results in academics, extra-curricular activities, and/or work leadership.

Application Process
