Co-hosted with Ensena Chile, Teach For All hosted “RSM Conference: University Recruitment and Selection Research” from June 13th to 16th, bringing together recruitment and selection leaders from across the network to Santiago, Chile, to share their successes, challenges and learnings.
Among the attendees was TFL’s Head of HR Department, Mr. Mohsen El-Husseini, who helped set a strategy for selecting the Fellows, and performed selection research to optimize the processes and outcomes, to recruit the best Fellows.
On the first day, participants explored Ensena Chile’s recruitment and selection strategy and 15-year trajectory through a visit to the San Joaquin campus of the Catholic University of Chile.
The second and third days were divided into tracks, where participants attended discussions and critically engaged in foundational University Recruitment and Selection Research topics. On the final day of the event, participants had the opportunity to reflect on the type of leadership needed to achieve their desired outcomes and dedicate time to develop a plan to strengthen their strategies based on their insights gained during the conference.
All in all, participants learned from the latest insights and practices and gained practical skills to enhance their recruitment and selection strategies.
Testimonial from TFL’s Head of HR, Mr. Mohsen El Husseini
Being the first in-person conference after COVID, I had the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from the network and get to know new colleagues too. In addition, I got insights from different countries on their practices in recruitment and selection and exchanged experiences that will help in selecting and recruiting the best candidates for the Fellowship program at Teach For Lebanon.
Number of fellows: 5
