Another TFL milestone has been reached and another group of education and community leaders just completed their Fellowship. On Friday August 5, a graduation ceremony for Cohort 12 was held at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, in the AKSOB building.
The ceremony started with a welcoming note by Mr. George Obeid, Acting Director of the Academy of Continuing Education (ACE), followed by a word from TFL’s CEO Ms. Salyne El Samarani, and TFL’s Head of Education Ms. Farah Abou Maita.
Graduating Fellow, Dany Wehbe, representing Cohort 12, welcomed and congratulated the graduating Fellows, and on behalf of the latter, expressed gratitude to Teach For Lebanon and the Education department for their unwavering commitment and support during the graduates' Fellowship journey.
A short film highlighting the graduates' most memorable moments and experiences was screened, and diplomas were distributed afterwards.
