TFL proudly announces that the Head of the Education Department, Ms. Farah Abou Maita, and TFL Education Mentor Mr. Ahmad Kassem have completed their Middle East Professional Learning Initiative (MEPLI) Fellowship.
The MEPLI Fellowship supports educators committed to advancing teacher education systemically in the contexts in which they serve. It is a year-long job-embedded program that provides teacher educators from Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine with scholarships for Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) Professional Education learning experiences.
On October 4th, 2022, a MEPLI reception was held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Verdun to acknowledge the work of all the MEPLI Fellows from 2020 till 2022, talk about the Fellowship experience and distribute the certificates.
On the following day, TFL was thrilled to welcome Associate Director for MEPLI and International Programming at Harvard University, Ms. Shaylyn Carey at TFL’s Badaro office. The purpose of the visit was to discuss a potential partnership with TFL, that focuses on the Fellows’ and staff’s professional development.
Thank you to MEPLI and the Harvard School of Education for your sponsorship, and heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Abu Maita and Mr. Kassem on their remarkable accomplishments.
