Teach For Lebanon was thrilled to host its Annual Christmas lunch on December 16, 2023, at the Padova Hotel in Sin El Fil. The event brought together 160 esteemed individuals, including TFL board members, staff, university partners, MEHE representatives, NGOs, public school principals, Access teachers, Fellows, and cherished alumni.
Moderated by TFL’s Communications Officer, Ms. Rima Jamaleddine, and MEAL Assistant, Mr. Mohammad Al Saeed, the event began with a warm welcome, ensuring a smooth flow of activities.
Inspiring speeches by TFL board members, Mr. Nuhad Daghir, Mr. Nazih Zeidan, and Ms. Maissa Abou Adal Ghanem, TFL Executive Director Ms. Janine Weber El-Meouchy, TFL Head of Education Department Ms. Farah Abu Maita, and Access Program Director Mr. George El Assad set the tone for a day filled with camaraderie and celebration.
Engaging activities, including interactive games, trivia, and the heartwarming exchange of 160 kindness cards, created moments of joy and shared learning and the New Year’s Resolution segment encouraged reflection and shared achievements.
The event ended in a joyful cake cutting and a group photo, followed by a delightful lunch, providing a perfect opportunity for everyone to network and bond.
