by Teach For Lebanon - Mar 18,2024
As part of the Leadership for Learning through Displacement Project, TFL alumnus Lubna Al Majzoub implemented a community service project “Reconnected” under the Education in Emergencies theme in Mansoura, West Bekaa, Lebanon.
ReconnectED is a focused initiative addressing the educational disparities posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and Lebanon's financial crisis. Targeting three key stakeholders – teachers, students, and parents – the project provides essential tools, educational sessions, and workshops to mitigate the challenges faced in learning during these challenging times. ReconnectEd mission is to build a bridge to quality education by offering tailored support to students and parents alike.
The ReconnectED team provided one full-day workshop with parents, 18 educational sessions, and six PSS sessions provided over six days of learning activities including English, Arabic, and Math in addition to a session of PSS.
