During May and June, four Alumni Networking Events took place as part of an extra Alumni grant by the US Embassy in Beirut to Teach For Lebanon. The events aimed to bring together Access alumni to provide them with the opportunity to connect with each other and with external opportunity providers to widen their horizons and enrich their networks.
The networking events took place in Beirut on May 26th, in the North on June 2nd, in Beqaa on June 16th, and in the South on June 23rd.
During those events, Teach For Lebanon hosted presenters from the US Embassy in Beirut, UNDP, INJAZ Lebanon, Headhunter firm, and LASeR to expose the Access alumni to potential opportunities that they provide, whether on the job scene or in the entrepreneurial arena.
Structured networking activities were also held at the events to ensure the building of effective connections and the setting of forward communications among alumni. In addition, the launch of the Access Alumni Website was also announced, with the purpose of acting as a functional platform for the alumni to connect and communicate.
